Everyone we meet wants our job and I don’t blame them.  They are so curious to how it’s happened and by the fact that we weren’t friends before the gig.  They also want us to be a Real World and are looking for that drama that the series produces.

“So you actually get along?”  “Have you had any blow-out fights?”

Unfortunately for their entertainment, we have worked well together thus far.  I mean, I know that I am not perfect and spending two weeks with me straight would probably wear even on my family, and they love me; therefore, I’m sure there are silent moments.  However, there has not been anything worth an angry discussion or tears of frustration.

But I do think there is something in those stories that people love and can relate to during a time when quarters are close.  I said this previously, travel is not always easy.  Some of my family’s greatest laughs come from the times when we were the ugliest in our travel.  In a sad way, it rounds out the trip.  I think that’s why people love the Chevy Chase films and Little Miss Sunshine.  We’re not perfect and sometimes that’s funny.  So, my Memphis Folly entry will be about my imperfection.  And my latest question is this:

Can you recall a time during your travel when a moment of tension, awkwardness, or even a fight became hilarious after it was solved?
